Senior Buyer

Mayzon is a market leader in bath storage and organization products. Our products can be found online and in major retailers such as Walmart, Target, Amazon, Lowe’s, and Home Depot, as well as through Pro/MRO, builders, installers, and hospitality businesses.

We’re currently looking for a Buyer to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, loves solving problems, and thrives in a collaborative setting. You’ll work closely with the Procurement Manager and play a key role in supporting and improving purchasing processes as the company continues to grow.

Location: New Castle, DE (US) or Montreal, QC (CA)

What you'll be doing:

• Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to maintain optimal inventory levels for finished products and raw materials while supporting customer demand.

• Follow established purchasing guidelines and strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Evaluate and manage risks related to large MOQs, supply disruptions, and unique purchasing requirements.

• Support the company’s S&OP process and ensure purchase order activity aligns with forecasted sales volumes.

• Collaborate closely with global sourcing and import teams to ensure materials arrive on time, from purchase order placement through delivery.

• Partner with sourcing and manufacturing teams to create and improve processes related to country-of-origin and engineering changes.

• Conduct data analysis to identify root causes of recurring issues and help implement long-term solutions.

• Gain an understanding of internal change management processes and procurement impacts.

• Work closely with sales teams to proactively communicate supply chain challenges or disruptions.

• Review overstock and obsolete inventory opportunities to improve working capital and reduce inventory exposure.

What we're looking for:

• University or College degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, material planning, merchandise planning, or supply chain.

• Experience with MRP systems such as Infor, Oracle, SAP, or JD Edwards is required.

• Experience leading or participating in process improvement initiatives.

• Self-starter mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills with an understanding of how small changes can create larger business impacts.

• Proactive approach with the ability to identify challenges and implement sustainable solutions.
