Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Infusion

Schedule
Days, varied. No weekends.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements
- Current unencumbered state RN license
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification
- AHA ACLS Provider Card
- IV therapy experience preferred
- PICC and midline proficiency preferred
- Chemotherapy experience preferred
- Infusion (CRNI) and/or Oncology (OCN) national certification preferred
- Preference for applicants with current ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy-Immunotherapy certification
- Preference for applicants with current outpatient infusion experience

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert care to patients receiving infusion therapy for various conditions, including cancer and autoimmune diseases.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions and side effects.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient care and treatment.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
