Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 5 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Neurosurgical & Surgical Unit Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 12-hour Day shifts with a commitment of a minimum of every other weekend, adjustable based on unit needs. Job Description The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care on the M5/McClure 5 Neurosurgical & Surgical Unit. The RN must have prior travel experience in large teaching facilities and be prepared to adapt their schedule to meet unit and patient care requirements. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care to neurosurgical and surgical patients. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records and document care provided in the electronic health record (Epic). Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans. Participate in bi-weekly orientations and continuing education opportunities. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing unit experience. AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required. NIHSS certification required prior to start date. Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required.
