The Facilities Day Porter Assistant supports the daily operations, cleanliness, and organization of TerraPower facilities. This role helps maintain common areas, manages supply inventory, and provides general facilities support across both Bellevue and Everett office locations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas, including conference rooms, breakrooms, copy rooms, and shared spaces.
• Perform routine cleaning of appliances such as refrigerators, coffee machines, and microwaves.
• Support Facilities and Administrative teams with building-related requests and general upkeep.
• Stock and organize supplies in common areas, breakrooms, and copy rooms.
• Conduct inventory counts and assist with ordering supplies and food.
• Perform light janitorial duties, including trash removal, cardboard breakdown, spill cleanup, and sanitization as needed.
• Assist with weekly, quarterly, and annual deep-cleaning initiatives.
• Support meeting and event coordination, including catering delivery, room setup, and post-event cleanup.
• Receive and distribute mail and packages, including inter-office deliveries, and assist with outgoing shipments.
• Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• 1–3 years of experience in a porter or facilities support role, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong customer service and hospitality mindset.
• Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work varying hours between 6:30 AM and 5:30 PM.
• High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to problem solve, adapt, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Sound judgment and proactive approach to identifying and addressing needs.
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated integrity, teamwork, and respect in a collaborative environment.

Salary Range: $30.05 - $45.07

* We typically place offers in the lower to middle portion of the range to maintain internal equity and allow room for growth. Any salary offered within the posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with the selected individual's qualifications experience. This range is specific to Washington State.
