Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting a positive and friendly environment Administer medications, as directed by healthcare professionals Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients Prepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary restrictions and preferences Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings, as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided Requirements 40 Hr Certificate, Active HHA 75 hour certificate, CNA license (Required) Must have a current CPR certification (Required) Level 2 Background check and Fingerprinting (Required) Valid Driver's License, reliable personal vehicle, car insurance (Required) Recent Negative TB Screening Results or Chest X-Ray (Required) Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients Excellent communication, required to have the ability to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents and visitors.
