Job Title Field Service Technician I Location Manchester, CT Position Summary Field Service Technicians at NCR Voyix provide first‑line assistance to retail and dining customers. You will diagnose and repair electromechanical equipment such as self‑checkout systems, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to service calls promptly and effectively. Pay and Benefits Hourly Pay Range: $17.00 to $20.83 depending on location and experience Overtime available at time and a half 7 paid holidays and 6 paid floating holidays Paid vacation – up to 80 hours in your first year 401(k) savings and retirement plan Company‑provided business‑use‑only vehicle Medical insurance available immediately Responsibilities Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively. Service electromechanical equipment such as self‑checkout systems within an assigned territory. Perform maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls. Basic Qualifications Local candidate for the Manchester, CT area Authorized to work in the United States Minimum 18 years of age Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record Basic PC, electronic, and operating‑system skills Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation Willingness to travel extensively, driving several hours per day Rotating shift work, including weekends and holidays Flexible shift schedule (morning, afternoon, evening openings) Capacity to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment up to 75 lbs without assistance and up to 150 lbs with assistance Physical ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, and manipulate objects of varying size repetitively Willingness to be trained on and operate small‑scale scissor lifts in retail environments Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software A+ Certification, CompTIA Network+, or related certification One or more years of related technical experience EEO Statement Integrated into our shared values is NCR Voyix’s commitment to diversity and equal employment opportunity.
