- Prepare and manage federal and state income tax returns and supporting working papers.
- Calculate and remit estimated payments, extensions, and U.S. international forms.
- Assist with statutory and U.S. GAAP provisions, including bridging statutory to GAAP.
- Respond to federal/state notices, inquiries, and audits; gather documentation and draft responses.
- Conduct tax research, prepare memos, and support special projects.
- Mentor and guide team members; no formal supervisory responsibilities.
- Maintain awareness of risk and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's preferred.
- 2-3 years professional experience; Big 4 or regional firm preferred, industry experience acceptable.
- CPA license or candidate preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills; OneSource and ERP GL experience preferred.
