This key role places you at the heart of student health, with your own nurse’s office in the school’s Health Room—a dedicated space to provide top-quality care and build trusting relationships with young people.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid RN license or Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential
• Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly preferred
• Comfortable assessing, triaging, and responding to students’ health needs throughout the school day
• Skilled in administering medications and following individualized health plans
• Strong communicator, able to collaborate with staff, students, and families
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in keeping accurate health records

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate the Health Room and manage your own nurse’s office
• Respond to students who feel ill or require medical attention during school hours
• Evaluate symptoms, provide basic care, and determine next steps for student health
• Administer medications in accordance with doctors’ orders and parental consent
• Maintain detailed documentation of all visits, medications, and incidents
• Serve as a key health resource for students, staff, and the school community
