Food Manufacturing Warehouse

Job Description

Food Manufacturing Warehouse Packers play a vital role in efficiently packing, sorting, and preparing perishable food items and mixed products for shipment within a warehouse team of more than 10 members. They ensure product integrity through quality checks while adhering to safety and food handling standards. This role operates a variety of equipment including handheld scanners, conveyor belts, and packing machines during day and night shifts, with overtime opportunities and potential for advancement and cross-training.

Responsibilities

Pack bulk goods accurately and efficiently
Sort and label products to meet shipping standards
Perform quality checks to ensure product integrity
Load goods for transportation or storage
Manage inventory and materials responsibly
Operate handheld scanners, conveyor belts, and packing machines
Collaborate effectively with team members of 10+
Ensure safety compliance and maintain accurate documentation
Adhere to food handling regulations and maintain a Food Handling Card

Preferred Qualifications

Entry-level experience in warehouse or packing environments
Proficiency in operating handheld scanners, conveyor belts, and packing machines
Inventory control and quality assurance skills
Strong attention to detail and time management
Effective teamwork and communication abilities
