Opportunity Details

• Location: Midlothian, Texas
• Position: Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
• Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time
• Contract Terms: 2-Year Agreement

• Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care
• Schedule: Three days per week with every-other-weekend coverage
• Weekly Hours: Approximately 39 hours
• Breaks: 30-minute lunch break
• Practice Model: Independent, single-provider clinical coverage
• Patient Population: All ages, beginning at 3 months
• Weekday Volume: Approximately 30+ patients daily
• Weekend Volume: Approximately 16+ patients daily

Clinic Hours & Scheduling

• Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–8:00 PM
• Saturday–Sunday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Three-day workweek with rotating weekend coverage
• Every-other-weekend availability required
• Consistent scheduling designed to support work-life balance

Clinical Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
• Provide urgent care services to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Perform comprehensive histories, physical examinations, and clinical assessments
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
• Prescribe medications within applicable state regulations and clinical protocols
• Perform common urgent care procedures consistent with training and clinical privileges
• Identify patients requiring emergency evaluation or a higher level of care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Deliver efficient, compassionate care while managing a steady outpatient patient volume

Provider Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Active, unrestricted Texas professional license
• Active DEA registration
• Comfortable evaluating and treating patients ages 3 months and older
• Ability to function confidently as the sole onsite treating provider
• Strong clinical judgment, procedural skills, and patient communication
• Prior Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience strongly preferred
• Candidates with less than one year of Urgent Care experience may be considered, with additional Urgent Care CME training required
• Availability for the established weekday and every-other-weekend schedule
