Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule: Variable shifts; mainly starting around 8:30 AM

Shift Details: Days - 4 x 10

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Valid CA state license in hand; pending CA license accepted
• Certifications: BLS (copy of certifications required)
• Clinical skills: Perioperative/OR competency across a broad range of procedures (general, orthopedic, ENT, ophthalmic, urology, podiatry)
• Experience with laparoscopic-assisted procedures, specimen handling/labeling, universal protocol (time-out), wound management, catheterization, infection control, radiation/laser safety
• Charting system: Epic (preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Assist with preoperative and postoperative assessments and interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with surgical protocols and standards of care.
• Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and postoperative care.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must provide SSN and DOB at time of submission
• RTO restrictions: No more than 7 days; must be included at time of submission
• Travelers may float to sister facilities; refusal may risk termination/forfeiture of guaranteed hours
