Post Doctoral AssociateThe Rutgers Air Quality Lab led by Dr. Xiaomeng Jin within the Department of Environmental Sciences at Rutgers University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work on remote sensing of air quality. Emphasis will be placed on using satellite observations to understand the impacts of wildfires and prescribed burning on air quality. The candidate must have a Ph.D. in a related field (e.g., Atmospheric Science, Remote Sensing, Earth Science, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering) by the time of appointment. Background in atmospheric remote sensing is strongly preferred. Experience with atmospheric models (e.g., GEOS-Chem, CMAQ) and skills in python, Fortran and high-performance computing are also desired.Position Status: Full TimeSalary Details: 63,968Offer Information: The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position.
