Hiring Department UICOMP-OBGYN Location Peoria, IL USA Requisition ID 1041225 Posting Close Date 8/9/2026 Salary $350,000 to $400,000 per year Position Summary The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Peoria campus of the University of Illinois College of Medicine seeks General OB/GYN physicians for full‑time or part‑time positions providing comprehensive health care in both inpatient and ambulatory settings, including actively participating in the educational and clinical training of residents and medical students. The program offers a flexible work/life schedule and the opportunity to teach future physicians in the Midwest. Duties & Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in obstetrics and gynecology in outpatient and inpatient settings. Actively participate in the teaching of residents and medical students, fostering a culture of learning and professional development. Engage in scholarly activities. Contribute to departmental initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and healthcare delivery. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications MD or DO degree. Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated experience teaching residents and medical students. Interest or experience in research and academic leadership.
