• Primary AM or PM shifts -- typical chains of 3 - 4 shifts in a row
• Backup shift coverage included with primary shift assignment
• Surgical critical care at a level 2 trauma center
• Single coverage model
• Trauma/ACS coverage required -- blunt and penetrating cases
• Fellowship training required
• ATLS required
• 25 trauma cases in a level 1 or 2 setting within past 12 months required
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal
