Shift: Variable - Days / Variable - Evenings

Schedule: 8-Hour Shifts

Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week

Start Date: ASAP

Bill Rate: $80 per hour

Job Description
Oakland Heights is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Long Term Care team. The RN will provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents in a nursing home environment while ensuring safety, comfort, and effective clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting

Monitor patient health status and report significant changes to physicians or healthcare team

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans

Educate residents and families regarding care plans and health management

Ensure compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations

Requirements

Active RN License (Nebraska or Compact License preferred)

BLS Certification required

Minimum 1-2 years of LTC / Nursing Home experience preferred

Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills

Ability to work 8-hour Day or Evening shifts in a fast-paced environment.
