Most importantly, you should exhibit a strong, intuitive capability in solving complex challenges. The ability to self-motivate and to motivate others on the team is also highly valuable. Your work will include:Leading circuit development efforts, evaluating and selecting circuit architecturesDesigning challenging transistor-level circuitsPreparing effective design documents and conducting engaging design reviewsGuiding layout, evaluation, and test engineering teamsMentoring other design engineersQualificationsM.S. or beyond in Electrical Engineering14+ years’ experience in CMOS designExperience in high-speed data converter design, with architectures such as pipeline ADC, SAR ADC, or current-steering DAC.Understanding of a wide range of circuits such as wide bandwidth amplifiers and comparators, switched capacitor circuits, precision voltage and current references, LDOs.Experience in Cadence schematic capture and SPICE simulation tools.Signal processing knowledge is a strong plus, particularly as it relates to calibration algorithms.Experience with MATLAB, for example used as a behavioral modeling tool.Good written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work in a large team.What’s in it for youAt Analog Devices (ADI), you’ll collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry to tackle complex real-world challenges that matter—from autonomous vehicles and drones to smart factories, augmented reality, and remote healthcare solutions.
