Unit Notes - Hiring Process: Clinical Offer: The clinical team will interview the candidate and, if selected, an offer will be extended on behalf of the facility - Radius: 60 MILES, DL must be submitted - Week of orientation: Please ensure clinicians are in state for week of orientation even if first day modules are remote

Hospital ST Catherine Dodge Unit ICU # Beds 10 beds Nurse:Patient Ratios 1:2 Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, Common diagnoses/Types of patients Abd Pain, CP, Fever, Cough, Dyspnea, Headache, Injury, Extremity Pain, Insulin gtts Experience or 'Must have' skills yes Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips Vasopressors, Inotropes, Sedatives, Analgesics, Metabolic, Specilized Charge Nurse/House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Yes, charge nurse takes an assigment Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios no nurse aids in the unit Hospitalist or Intensivist in house yes RT in ICU 24/7 Yes RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, vents, Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors? yes tele monitors but we have a tele tech on duty 24/7. They monitor telemetry patients and ICU. Client monitors Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) Self scheduling and Block. Reminder: self-scheduling does not mean you will always get what was requested but we make every effort to accomodate. Weekend Requirements Yes - Full and part-time employees are expected to self-schedule a minimum of six weekend shifts per six-week schedule, aligning with department needs, unit staffing plans, and ensuring equitable distribution among all staff Holiday Requirements Yes Is there a call or standby requirement? Determined by NM Floating Requirements May be asked to float into any other acuity level; ICU, PCU/Stepdown, & MS-Tele. Could be utilize as a CNA only if ever needed. Could float within Zone 4 if needed. Scrub Color/Dress Code Navy Blue Unit/Department specific orientation Date & location assigned during week of orientation Additional Notes This will be a re-opening of an ICU. Need seasoned ICU RNs.
