This is a travel - temporary assignment in a hospital setting. Responsibilities Provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the OR, coordinating with the surgical team Prepare the operating room, maintain sterile technique, and assist with instrument handling as needed Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures; advocate for patient safety, comfort, and dignity Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, circulating nurses, and other perioperative staff to support efficient, evidence-based care Document care, contribute to handoffs, and ensure compliance with policies and professional standards Uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and participate in quality and safety initiatives Requirements Current, active RN license in Georgia (or eligibility to practice per Georgia standards) Perioperative/OR nursing experience is preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment and adapt to changing priorities Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on patient advocacy Education: graduate of an accredited RN program Knowledge of and commitment to practice in alignment with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics Benefits and Support Competitive weekly pay aligned to travel assignments Defined contract length with a travel assignment structure Travel and onboarding coordination provided by a dedicated staffing partner Professional practice standards and safe patient care emphasized throughout the assignment #J-18808-Ljbffr
