This role involves working with post-cardiac cath, post-surgical patients, and those on high-risk medications and respiratory support. Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Telemetry

• Obtain and record initial patient assessments and establish priorities based on age, symptoms, and needs.
• Re-assess patients systematically to monitor progress and trends requiring intervention.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in line with Nursing Standards of Care.
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on patient outcomes; modify care plans as required.
• Participate in health education and discharge planning for patients and families.
• Implement and document interventions tailored to patient needs in a timely manner.
• Conduct various Point of Care testing procedures.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Telemetry

• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
• Current BLS certification from AHA required.
• Current ACLS certification from AHA required.
