Wildlife Field Biologists

Overview LSA’s Emeryville office seeks experienced biologists for hourly field positions, including wildlife surveys, fish relocation, nesting bird surveys, roosting bat surveys, and biological construction monitoring for protected species such as California red‑legged frog, California tiger salamander, northwestern pond turtle, giant garter snake, Alameda whipsnake, California Ridgway’s rail, California black rail, burrowing owl, San Francisco dusky‑footed woodrat, salt marsh harvest mouse, nesting birds, and roosting bats. A minimum of two years of monitoring/survey experience with any of these species is preferred. Biologists with valid 40‑hour HAZWOPPER training certification are also desirable. Candidates must be capable of strenuous fieldwork under adverse weather conditions. Compensation The pay range is $30 to $40 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
