Substitute Paraprofessional - District Wide

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to work in a cooperative, positive manner with students, staff, parents, and community.
• Ability to assist students in their understanding of instructional concepts.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and prepare teaching aids and materials.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred
• Must be self-motivated and work well independently.
• GED or high school diploma required.
• Two years of college (72 hours), Associate Degree or passing scores on the Workkeys test required. (District will provide test)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Including, but not limited to, frequent standing, walking, sitting, grasping, bending, twisting, reaching and fine manipulation. Frequent keyboarding also required.


COMPENSATION RATES:
Paraprofessional - $16.93 per hour.
