Die SetterKeystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for a full-time Die Setter who will be working in our St. Marys, PA location. This person will report to the Production Supervisor. This opening is on our 3x3 schedule on night shift, 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo efficiently and safely make highly complex setups, initial sample complex setups on hydraulic and mechanical equipment in molding and sizing operations with minimal assistanceTo efficiently and safely operate equipment, including the making of satisfactory adjustments to ensure product quality. This includes the ability to adjust furnace temperature and/or belt speedLegibly record and maintain applicable product/process informationEffectively utilize measuring equipment and information obtained from its use to insure continuation of control conditionsProvide active input to continuous process improvementEffectively communicate job related information to co-workers, supervisors and others with a need to know.Maintain cooperative relationships with other functional areasMay be assigned the leadoff duties, directing the dept. in absence of the supervisory force and assist at other timesReliable, consistent attendance is a requirement and essential function of this positionQualificationsHS Diploma or GED requiredCompensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, competencies and location.
