This role will also collaborate and work closely under the moderate direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Understanding the general aspects of the job and a high sense of urgency is required./ppEssential Responsibilities:/pulliSkills in Inventory Management ulliMoving Parts between locations/liliCreating transport tasks accurately amongst the three warehouses/liliMaintaining inventory counts/liliTrouble shooting inventory issues/Kanban/liliMove serialized parts accurately/liliSend parts properly marked to the other two warehouses/li/ul/liliPacking parts orders in a way that the inventory will not get damaged/liliClosing parts orders ulliPrint and sign Picklists/liliAdd tracking to orders/liliDeliver the parts order/li/ul/liliProcess Work Orders ulliPull/move inventory over to transfer parts from a work order to a parts order/liliDeliver Customer order tied to Work Order/li/ul/liliProcess Return Material Authorizations/liliOversee quality of parts being packed/liliPalletize and ship large order via LTL carriers/liliBe able to lift at least 50lbs/liliMaintain proper inventory levels in the Parts Department/liliBuild a small amount of subassemblies/liliCreate shop orders for multistep operations ulliMaintain the shop floor workbench for the Parts Department/li/ul/liliManage and keep the backorder log updated/liliMaintain and respond to emails/liliOrder packaging supplies from UPS and our local suppliers/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulpRequirements for Effective Performance:/pulliHigh School diploma or equivalent/lili1-3 Customer Service experience/liliKnowledge in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams etc.)/liliERP system experience preferred/li/ulpSkills/Abilities/Specifications:/pulliAbility to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively communicate one on one and in group settings with customers as well as other employees within the organization./liliAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
