Senior Accountant

CB Partners is collaborating with a growing healthcare services organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This role will be responsible for key accounting functions including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on accounting professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys improving processes, and can provide meaningful financial insights that support business operations and leadership decision‑making. What You’ll Do Oversee and review payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance Prepare and post journal entries and general ledger transactions Oversee customer billing processes and ensure timely invoicing Review and approve invoices in accordance with company policies Validate payroll calculations, benefit deductions, PTO balances, and payroll‑related reconciliations Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Monitor cash receipts and assist with account reconciliations Ensure accurate recording of payables and timely payment processing Manage payroll journal entries and related accounting activity Support month‑end and year‑end close processes Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Prepare financial statements and management reporting packages What We’re Looking For We're seeking a proactive accounting professional who combines strong technical accounting expertise with a continuous improvement mindset.
