Capital Projects DirectorWSP is seeking an accomplished Capital Projects Director to lead and expand our Oil & Gas Midstream Pipelines Capital Project portfolio across the United States. This leadership role will be responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale capital pipeline programs, including transmission pipelines, gathering systems, compressor stations, terminals, and associated infrastructure.The successful candidate will serve as a senior leader responsible for project execution, business growth, and client relationship management, while driving excellence across safety, quality, financial performance, and schedule predictability. regulationsPromote quality assurance and risk management across all project phasesWho You Are Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field20+ years of experience in oil & gas, with a strong focus on midstream pipelines and facilitiesProven experience leading large capital projects/programs ($100M–$1B+) in pipelines or energy infrastructureDemonstrated success as a Project Director, Program Director, or senior capital projects leaderDeep expertise in EPCM delivery models, pipeline construction, and project lifecycle executionStrong understanding of pipeline systems, compressor stations, terminals, and related infrastructureTrack record of delivering projects with strong financial, safety, and schedule performanceExcellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to manage staff, and effectively, persuasively, and tactfully interact with employees at all levels of the organization.Strategic lateral thinking and strong analytical skills with attention to detail and prioritization of responsibilities in a pressure work environment.Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including senior management, clients, and company-wide staff, including those with whom no formal hierarchical relationship exits.Strong ability to quickly adapt to change and demonstrate flexibility to a variety of schedules and hours to meet business needs.Experience managing client relationships at the executive levelAbility to lead multi-disciplinary, geographically project-specific requirements.Preferred QualificationsProfessional Engineer (PE) license or PMP certificationExperience with large interstate pipeline projects and regulatory approvals (FERC/PHMSA)Established relationships with major midstream operators and utilitiesExperience with alternative delivery models and integrated project delivery (IPD)Background in digital project
