Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) Setting: Healthcare Facilities Job Type: Contract - Part Time Pay: $25 / Hour Hours: 16.00 Location: Bel Air, MD The Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Geriatric Nursing Assistant performs a variety of individualized patient care activities including bathing, dressing, feeding and transporting as well as related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of the geriatric patient population.

Minimum Requirements:
- Active CNA with Geriatric Certification, required
- Experience with memory care patients, preferred
- Prefer one year of geriatric nursing assistant experience as a certified nursing assistant within the last three years.
- Graduate from certified nursing assistant program with subsequent documentation as a certified nursing assistant per state requirements with proof of verification as being an active certification and having the ability to be work with geriatrics per state requirements. • Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions.
- Current CPR
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
