Lake Ridge Care Center, a Cassia senior community, is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team! As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)at Lake Ridge Care Center , you'll provide nursing care, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident health as well as monitor nursing personnel during assigned shift. The ideal candidate is a skilled and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is committed to enhancing the lives of older adults. Position Type: Full-Time Shifts Available (including every other weekend):Days: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
Evening: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm Wage Range: $28.41 - $36.29 / hour depending on experience Shift Differential:
Between 6:00 pm - 6:00 am, $8 / hour Bonus: $7,500 (Full-Time) Location: 310 Lake Blvd S, Buffalo, MN 55313
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities:
- Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
- Works to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
- Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
- Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
- Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
- Monitors nursing personnel on duty during the assigned shift.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications:
- Must be in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing and have current MN Nursing license.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
