This rewarding opportunity spans from now through May 2027, providing consistency and growth for both educators and students. Elementary, middle, and high school positions are available, including part-time (.5) options, in dedicated classrooms focusing on life skills, autism support, and behavior intervention.

Qualifications:

• Current and active Kansas teaching licensure in Special Education for your intended grade level (elementary, middle, or high school)
• Classroom teaching experience in special education preferred; experience with life skills, autism, or behavioral programs is a strong asset
• Effective communicator with students, families, and colleagues
• Collaborative mindset and adaptability to meet individual student needs
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with special needs in life skills, autism, or behavior-focused classrooms
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team
• Track student progress, maintaining clear and accurate documentation
• Employ evidence-based strategies for academic, emotional, and social growth
• Work closely with families and related service providers to ensure holistic development
• Participate in school and district trainings, meetings, and professional development
