In this dynamic role, you will foster a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for residents of various care settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, memory care units, and home & community care environments. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day while working flexible hours that suit your lifestyle.**Duties*** Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary* Monitor and record vital signs like blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability* Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols in compliance with healthcare regulations* Provide companionship and social engagement to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation* Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's through specialized memory care techniques and behavior management strategies* Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area* Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident rooms and common areas* Document care activities accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and communicate effectively with healthcare teams* Support residents during outings or appointments by driving or assisting with transportation arrangements when qualified## Qualifications* Proven experience in senior care, assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments* Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease, dementia care, and behavioral management techniques* Ability to perform CPR/First Aid certification is highly desirable* Familiarity with assisting residents with ADLs and using mobility aids like Hoyer lifts* Strong communication skills for working effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals* Experience in medication administration and vital signs monitoring according to protocols* Compassionate attitude with excellent caregiving skills tailored to individual needs* Ability to work independently or as part of a team across all shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidaysJoin us in creating a caring community where every individual feels valued and supported.
