RN (registered Nurse) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Part Time Days (7A-7P) Texas Health Allen – 1105 N Central Expy, Allen, TX 75013 Part Time Days 7A-7P, requirement of 2–12 hr shifts per week including weekend and holiday requirements. Responsibilities Respond to others' priorities regarding safety, physical, psychological, and social needs. Practice mutual problem solving, helping patients and families understand health and illness, with reciprocal decisions. Collaborate as part of a team: “Individuals caring for individuals, together.” Actively participate in Shared Decision Making and Shared Governance at unit, entity, and/or system level. Participate in professional development, pursue opportunities for growth. Qualifications Diploma of Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred. One-year experience as a registered nurse in an ICU setting required. Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire. Three (3) years recent ICU experience preferred. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required prior to providing independent patient care and to be maintained quarterly. Ability to practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, and collaborate inter- and intra-disciplinarily for quality patient care.
