Receptionist Position at Applewood Center
Applewood Center is now hiring a full-time receptionist. The position includes the following details:
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Rate: $20.00/hour
Weekend Rotation: Every 10–11 weeks (Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM)
Flexibility: Requires flexibility to meet facility needs (e.g., staying until 6:00 PM or arriving at 8:00 AM if necessary)
Responsibilities:
- Answer all incoming calls professionally and courteously and redirect them appropriately.
- Warmly welcome, greet and direct patients, visitors, and guests.
- Coordinate outgoing and incoming mail.
- Maintain current lists of patients/residents by name/room number and employees by names/phone extension.
- Order supplies and perform other clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent is required.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients and visitors and respond to their medical and physical needs.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
- Must be proficient with Google; Docs, Sheets, Slides.
