Join Our Team as a Primary Care Physician
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Primary Care Physician to become part of our Newtown Primary Care & Specialty Practice located in Newtown, CT. This role involves taking on a leadership position within a dynamic team that includes three physicians, two Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs), and one Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Newtown is a picturesque small town in Fairfield County, situated approximately sixty miles from New York City.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate physician who is committed to providing comprehensive, team-oriented care to a diverse adult patient population. In this role, you will collaborate with a skilled multidisciplinary team to manage both acute and chronic health conditions while promoting overall wellness for your patient panel.
You will appreciate working in a fully outpatient environment equipped with a state-of-the-art integrated electronic health record system , which facilitates seamless communication and coordination across various hospitals and practice locations.

- Daily Management Systems that empower teams to address challenges at the practice level
- A unified electronic medical record (EMR) that enhances communication with hospitals and specialists
- Secure EMR-integrated AI scribing tools that improve documentation accuracy and reduce time spent in the EHR
- A light call schedule supported by nurse triage
- Active inbox management to help clinicians maintain a healthy work-life balance
- MD or DO with a valid Connecticut State License, Federal DEA, and State Controlled Substance Registration
- Completion of a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Residency
- Previous experience as a Primary Care Physician is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Off-hour coverage is shared among multiple providers, with phone calls managed by nurse triage
