Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Lead to support a global Life Sciences client in Stamford, CT. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP FICO within an S/4HANA environment, along with strong functional knowledge of IFRS15 and SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR).

This role will lead finance solution design, revenue recognition processes, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable, compliant, and business-aligned SAP solutions. The position requires both strategic leadership and hands-on functional expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FICO solutions within an S/4HANA environment.
• Serve as the functional SME and solution owner for finance and revenue recognition processes.
• Drive SAP RAR solution design and implementation aligned with IFRS15 compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into scalable SAP finance solutions and best practices.
• Configure and support revenue accounting, contract management, and financial reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS15 standards and support accurate, auditable financial reporting.
• Lead integration activities across SAP modules to support end-to-end finance and revenue processes.
• Support SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
• Provide guidance during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to SAP FICO and RAR.
• Facilitate workshops, solution reviews, and stakeholder alignment sessions.
• Mentor junior team members and provide functional leadership to project teams.

Required Qualifications

• 10–12+ years of SAP Finance experience with strong expertise in SAP FICO.
• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations.
• Proven experience implementing and supporting IFRS15 Revenue Recognition processes.
• Strong expertise in SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR).
• Deep understanding of General Ledger, Profitability Analysis, Revenue Recognition, and Financial Reporting.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale SAP Finance initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or Healthcare industries.
• Prior experience supporting global SAP transformation programs.
• Exposure to SAP Activate methodology and SAP best practices.
• Experience working with distributed global teams.
