Rope Access Supervisor

The Brock Rope Access Level 3 performs an essential role in the safe delivery of Brock’s RA services.They plan, manage and execute RA work with integrity and adherence to company procedure and industry best practice. Duties & Responsibilities Work safely and comply with Brock RA SOP / IRATA ICOP / SPRAT Safe work practices. Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders. Assist, mentor & educate other technicians as required. Ensure operational safety of all equipment. Plan, manage, and execute safe rope access onsite operations. Complete onsite safety paperwork, toolbox talks, JHA, rigging & rescue plans. Maintain a log of work hours for all team members Sign off and validate team RA hours in log books. Maintain productive communication with site and office management. Ensure that work is performed in accordance with Contractor Specifications and/or as directed by the Contractor’s Representative. Ensure they are following the applicable Contractor’s Safety Procedures, OSHA, state, local, and/or Contractor’s safety requirements. Able to read, understand and implement work scopes based upon P&IDs, blueprints, rope access procedures, and other HSE documents as needed. Any other duties as assigned. Education & Skill Requirements Experience working onshore / offshore in the O&G Sector preferred. High School Diploma or GED preferred. In Date IRATA / SPRAT - RA identification card(s) and / or certification form(s). Complete & up to date IRATA / SPRAT RA logbook(s). Possess an in-date and valid first aid certificate. Proficiency in theoretical knowledge, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing, and rescue/hauling applicable to IRATA / SPRAT level 3. Ability to provide reports using word/excel. Willingness to learn and improve and possibly gain additional required certification for specific projects. A team player mentality is essential. Good to above-average physical conditioning to perform rescue as required. Minimum of 2000 hours / 2 years documented field experience. Additional Requirements Legal ability to work in US & outlying territories. Valid Driver's license/identification card. Valid TWIC card.
