Location: San Antonio, TX | Full-Time, In-Office
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour

1st Adjusters is an automobile repossession company. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Client Account Resolution Specialist for our San Antonio office.

This position is responsible for managing client accounts from initial review through resolution while also sharing responsibility for answering incoming client phone calls. The right person will research and verify account information, ensure viable addresses are available to field agents, monitor account activity, provide clients with updates, and request additional information when existing leads have been exhausted.

This is not simply a data-entry position. The information entered into our system is used by field agents to determine where accounts should be worked. Accuracy, sound judgment, careful verification, and professional client communication are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Share responsibility for answering incoming client-side phone calls throughout the workday.
• Professionally provide clients with requested account updates.
• Receive new addresses, account information, and instructions from clients and document them accurately.
• Route calls or messages to the appropriate employee when additional assistance is needed.
• Review newly assigned accounts for customer, vehicle, address, lienholder, and registration information.
• Use research tools, including TLO and DMV records, to identify and verify current addresses, vehicle registration, license plate information, customer names, and lienholder information.
• Cross-reference names and other identifying information to ensure research results belong to the correct customer before adding them to an account.
• Review client notes, account updates, address sections, and special instructions for additional leads or restrictions.
• Enter detailed, accurate, and professional updates into each account.
• Confirm that viable addresses are entered correctly and mapping properly in Clearplan, the mobile system used by our field agents.
• Monitor accounts to determine whether available addresses are being worked by agents.
• Review field-agent updates and communicate relevant information to clients.
• Follow up on inactive accounts or accounts that have reached a dead end.
• Notify clients when available leads have been exhausted and request updated addresses or other information needed to continue working the account.
• Add, verify, and map new information received from clients.
• Maintain consistent follow-up so accounts continue progressing toward resolution.
• Communicate professionally with clients, field agents, and coworkers.
• Assist with other account-related and administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous automobile repossession-industry experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
• Customer service experience and professional phone skills are required.
• Must be comfortable regularly answering incoming calls and speaking directly with clients.
• Basic computer proficiency, including typing, navigating websites, and working between multiple systems.
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook.
• Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail.
• Ability to enter complete, accurate, and well-written account notes.
• Ability to verify information rather than entering unconfirmed search results.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and recognize when information or activity is missing.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance.
• Friendly, approachable, and able to work well with a variety of personalities.
• Positive, solution-oriented attitude and willingness to contribute to a cooperative office environment.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Important Details:

• This is a full-time, in-office position at our San Antonio location.
• The regular schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Remote and hybrid work are not available for this position.
• Starting pay is $15.00 per hour.
