Current unencumbered licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio. Positive Attitude! Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Teamwork, flexibility needed to fulfill job responsibilities, adapting to changes in work environment and accepting supervisory feedback. Maintain CPR/Handle With Care Certification (will be provided upon hire) Professional, courteous, and respectful interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and other staff. Preferred experience or credentials Competitive candidates will have: More than one (1) year of experience in psychiatric nursing. Handle with Care and BLS training JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Assessing and Developing Plans of Care Thorough Documentation Supervising and Delegating Tasks Related to Patient Care Monitoring Patients Conditions and Responding Appropriately to Change Delivering Treatment According to Plans of Care Assisting and Performing Comprehensive Nursing Assessment on All Patients Orienting Families and Patients to the Program Employing appropriate crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as required.
