Specialty Representative - GI Care - Los Angeles, CA

Field-based specialty pharmaceutical sales representative for gastrointestinal care products in the Los Angeles area. Role focuses on executing brand strategy, managing assigned territory, building customer relationships, and driving sales performance while maintaining compliance with healthcare industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Execute brand strategy and achieve sales performance targets, KPIs, and financial objectives in assigned territory
- Develop and execute call plans with SMART objectives and post-call evaluations to continuously improve performance
- Build trusted relationships with customers by proactively addressing needs and identifying win-win solutions
- Gather and share market intelligence on customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, and disease state information
- Identify and develop disease state experts and speaker advocates to maximize brand performance and differentiation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business; or 5+ years industry experience with 3+ in pharma
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- HCIR credentialing eligibility and good standing (background checks, immunization records, etc.)
- Demonstrated sales performance success in pharmaceutical or healthcare sector
- In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge
- Ability to travel and attend overnight training events and sales meetings
