Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in Cath Lab settings

License: Any active state license (in hand or pending) accepted

Certifications: ACLS, BLS

Must-Have: Skilled in cardiac catheterization procedures such as diagnostic and intervention catheterizations. Experienced in left and right heart catheterization, pulmonary artery line monitoring, and pericardiocentesis. Proficient in IABP insertion and loop recorder procedures. Familiar with EKG lead placement, dysrhythmia recognition and interpretation, and hemodynamic monitoring. Knowledgeable in rapid response protocols and isolation precautions. Experienced in sterile technique and equipment handling in a diagnostic/interventional setting using fluoroscopy.

Description: The department serves adult patients with an average of 4 cases per day. Common diagnoses include coronary artery disease, valve disorders, and heart failure. Weekend requirements include 10-12 days of call per month, including weekends. Clinicians must be able to return to the facility within 30 minutes when called. Travelers are required to work at least 1 holiday per 13-week assignment and participate in holiday rotation. Compliance documents are due the Wednesday prior to the start date. Total of 24 orientation hours required before starting the role.
