Salary: $125,000 - $160,000 per year A bit about us: We are a leading manufacturer based in Southern California! We are currently standing up our own internal software and need a qualified automated test engineer to help us with our deployments. 2. Utilizing QA tools and processes to ensure the highest quality product delivery.
3. Working closely with the software engineering team to understand product specifications and develop appropriate test strategies.
4. Identifying, recording, and tracking bugs and errors using systems like Jira, TestRail, and Zephyr.
5. Collaborating with the development team to ensure consistent project execution and help implement design changes and new features.
6. Integrating and maintaining the automation suite within the CI/CD pipeline for continuous deployment.
7. Conducting thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
8. Developing and maintaining documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
9. Working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the QA Automation Engineer position should possess the following qualifications: 1. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in QA automation.
3. Extensive experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium and Cypress.
4. Proficiency in ERP and manufacturing environments.
5. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
6. Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
7. Solid understanding of coding languages and experience with software development.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
10. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.
