Location: Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital, Harrisonburg, VA

Start Date: Immediate / Negotiable

Contract Duration: Ongoing

Shift: 24-hour shifts, block scheduling

Hours/Week: Varies

Employment Type: Full-time

Licenses/Certifications: Board Certified in Neonatology

Experience: Pediatric/neonatal specialty experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Provide expert neonatal care in a Level II special care nursery with 6 beds
• Collaborate with pediatric hospitalists and other neonatologists to deliver family-centered healthcare
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical research projects
• Support ongoing initiatives to expand neonatal services at the facility
• Engage in team-based patient management and decision-making
• Contribute to continuous improvement of neonatal care practices
• Exchange knowledge and best practices within a network of over 400 NICUs across the Pediatrix organization

What You Need

• Board Certification in Neonatology (certified by the American Board or equivalent)
• Valid Virginia medical license or ability to obtain one
• Neonatology experience preferred but not mandatory for new graduates
• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset
