Job Title: CNC Operator and Precision Grind Technician Job Description

We are urgently seeking skilled CNC Operators and Precision Grind Technicians to join our team for both day and night shift operations. These roles are pivotal in supporting our production workflow and offer the chance to work with advanced manufacturing processes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, including Gen Mill with Mitsubishi controls.
• Load and unload materials to and from CNC machines.
• Monitor production quality and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Perform finishing grinding and sharpening of materials.
• Log time and production quantities accurately using LYNQ software.
• Review work orders to understand material and time requirements.
• Keep production and maintenance logs up to date.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and correct defects promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform 'Safe Start' checks on machines after changes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area according to 5S standards.
• Train and support less experienced team members.
• Participate in inventory counts and 5S activities.
• Provide feedback for process improvements and attend safety training.

• Experience with CNC operation and sharpening.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work night shifts.

• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and quality control experience.
• Computer skills and ability to multitask.
• Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW is advantageous.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buellton, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
