Job Summary:
Physical Therapist (PT) Home Health in Massachusetts. This role involves evaluating and treating adult and pediatric patients in a home health setting, developing measurable treatment goals, administering diagnostic tests, and documenting patient care and progress. The position requires effective communication with medical and allied health personnel, and providing patient and family education to facilitate recovery and functional improvement.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapy Program; licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; current BLS certification; 1 year of applicable experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Documentation of Specialist Certification for PT Clinical Specialist.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include evaluating new patients, setting treatment goals, administering diagnostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests, providing appropriate treatment modalities, re-evaluating as needed, and maintaining documentation. The role also involves supervising and training staff, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and maintaining patient records. The position emphasizes service excellence and adherence to safety standards.
