Pay: $20.00/hr per hour, depending on experience

Position Overview

Crouch Staffing Solutions is hiring a dependable and motivated Manufacturing Team Lead to oversee and work alongside production employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a long-term position with Crouch Staffing and an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to gain leadership experience and grow their career in manufacturing.

This is a hands-on working Team Lead position. The Team Lead will be expected to actively perform production and general labor duties alongside the employees they oversee. This may include machine operation, palletizing products, material handling, housekeeping, sweeping, cleaning work areas, and assisting wherever needed to support daily production goals.

The Team Lead will also help ensure that attendance expectations, productivity requirements, quality standards, and safety procedures are followed. This position requires someone who is willing to work hard, lead by example, and remain actively involved in daily production activities.

The work environment is very hot and physically demanding. Candidates must be comfortable working on their feet and performing manual labor throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily guidance and direction to production employees.
• Work directly alongside employees while performing production and general labor duties.
• Operate production machinery and equipment as assigned.
• Assist with palletizing, packaging, material handling, and other production-related tasks.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including sweeping, cleaning equipment, removing debris, and maintaining organized work areas.
• Help assign employees to work areas based on daily production needs.
• Monitor employee attendance, productivity, work quality, and safety compliance.
• Communicate production goals, work instructions, priorities, and schedule changes to the team.
• Assist with training and onboarding new employees.
• Demonstrate proper work procedures and lead employees by example.
• Answer employee questions and help resolve basic workplace concerns.
• Report attendance issues, performance concerns, safety violations, and workplace incidents to management.
• Encourage teamwork, accountability, productivity, and a positive work environment.
• Ensure employees follow all company and client safety procedures.
• Step into any production or general labor area where additional assistance is needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation regarding attendance, employee performance, and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, production, machine operating, or general labor experience is preferred.
• Previous leadership or Team Lead experience is helpful but not required.
• Must be willing and able to perform physical production work alongside employees throughout the shift.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide direction professionally and hold employees accountable.
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Comfortable working in a very hot, physically demanding manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to regularly bend, stoop, reach, lift, palletize, clean, and perform repetitive production duties.
• Willingness to operate machinery and complete housekeeping or general labor duties as assigned.
• Must be available to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Compensation and Benefits

• $20.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience.
