Job Title PLS (Professional Land Surveyor) DE Type Direct Hire Work Location Onsite in Newark, DE Job Overview The Survey Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects and overseeing large, complex projects. Additionally, the role includes training and mentoring of junior staff, client satisfaction, and client development. Required Skills & Experience REQUIRES PLS (Professional Land Surveyor) Licensure 2 or more years of post-licensure experience. 7-10 Years of experience in the geomatics profession working on Civil Land Development projects for Commercial, Residential, Construction & Utilities projects. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and CAD. Excellent grasp of the Geomatics fields along with leadership, team building and communication abilities. Ability to exercise good judgment in handling and solving complex technical and people assignments in line with the company’s five core values. Valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record. Big Bonus Points if you Have Maryland PLS license Civil 3D and/or MicroStation experience Essential Job Responsibilities Manage projects: develop scope of work, schedule, fee; balance workload/resources; support business development; lead proposal preparation; support new business. Subject matter expert in standard practices for land surveying, providing technical, design and project management services; lead and supervise team on various project sizes and complexities. Engage in professional organizations, professional development and mentorship of direct reports; develop and maintain industry relationships. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
