Job Details:

• Locum Tenens assignment – ASAP through Ongoing with immediate need for May 18-22 coverage
• Perform procedures in the Endoscopy Suite on Mondays, Wednesdays, half-day Thursdays, and Fridays
• See patients in the office on Tuesdays and half-day Thursdays
• Take night call every night and round on any patient consults in the hospital
• 20-25 patient encounters per shift
• Overtime calculated after 40 hours, not on a daily basis
• Active Virginia medical license required
• Board certification eligible minimum; board certification not required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
• Required procedural skills include:
• Upper GI endoscopy including with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection of varices, and PEG placement
• Esophageal dilatation/manometry
• Small bowel biopsy
• Lower GI endoscopy
• Flexible sigmoidoscopy
• Colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp
• Vendors are responsible for obtaining and submitting all necessary pre-hire requirements including a completed background check and drug screen as part of provider onboarding

Compensation:
