HR Transformation Executive Consultant

PEPL

We are seeking an accomplished HR Transformation Executive to build, lead, and expand our HR Transformation Consulting practice. This executive will serve as a trusted advisor to C‑suite executives and CHROs, helping organizations transform their Human Resources functions into strategic, data‑driven business partners. The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading enterprise HR transformation initiatives within a Big Four consulting firm and possesses deep expertise supporting complex healthcare organizations. This leader will oversee consulting engagements that assess HR organizational effectiveness, operating models, technology ecosystems, service delivery, talent strategies, governance, and operational processes while leading multidisciplinary consulting teams responsible for executing assessments and implementing transformational recommendations. This role requires an executive who can successfully blend strategic consulting, executive relationship management, practice leadership, and operational execution to deliver measurable business outcomes for clients. Key Responsibilities Build and lead a national HR Transformation Consulting practice. Develop consulting methodologies, assessment frameworks, implementation tools, and intellectual property. Establish standardised HR maturity models, benchmarking tools, and best practice libraries. Build and mentor a high‑performing team of HR consultants and transformation leaders. Define service offerings and delivery methodologies. Establish quality standards and project governance across all engagements. Drive innovation through AI, automation, workforce analytics, and digital HR technologies. Serve as executive advisor to CHROs, CEOs, CFOs, COOs, and executive leadership teams on: HR organisational effectiveness Shared Services strategy Centers of Excellence design HR Business Partner model optimisation Talent acquisition transformation Total Rewards optimisation HR compliance and risk management Workforce planning Employee experience strategy Change management Workforce productivity HR Assessments & Organizational Reviews Lead enterprise‑wide assessments including: HR organisational structure Span of control analysis Workforce capacity planning HR role clarity Team competency assessments HR process maturity HR governance SOP documentation Policy reviews Compliance assessments Outsourcing opportunities Workforce analytics capabilities Lead assessments and recommendations regarding: Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms Payroll systems Talent Management systems Learning Management Systems Benefits Administration platforms Performance Management technology Employee self‑service solutions Workflow automation AI‑enabled HR technologies Reporting and analytics HR system integrations Data governance Digital employee experience Provide recommendations for technology optimisation, implementation roadmaps, vendor selection, and process redesign. Oversee complex enterprise transformation initiatives including: Current‑state assessments Executive strategy sessions Transformation roadmaps Implementation planning PMO oversight Executive steering committees Change management strategies Adoption strategies Organisational readiness Benefits realisation tracking Business Development Identify new consulting opportunities within existing accounts. Lead proposal development and client presentations. Present at executive forums and industry conferences. Develop thought leadership publications. Partner with sales and executive leadership to grow consulting revenue. Build strategic alliances with HR technology vendors. Participate in executive networking and business development activities. Develop consulting talent. Coach senior consultants and project managers. Conduct performance reviews. Lead resource planning. Build a collaborative consulting culture. Develop future practice leaders. Qualifications Required Experience Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. MBA, Master's in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related discipline preferred. 15+ years of progressive HR consulting and executive leadership experience. 10+ years leading enterprise HR transformation programmes. Previous leadership experience with a Big Four consulting firm. Significant healthcare industry consulting experience. Experience leading large‑scale HR transformation engagements. Experience managing consulting teams across multiple concurrent projects. Experience presenting to executive leadership and Boards. Strong business development and consulting sales experience. Experience managing multi‑million‑dollar consulting engagements. Preferred Certifications Senior Certified Professional (SHRM‑SCP or SPHR) Project Management Professional (PMP) HR technology certifications in leading HCM platforms Experience with leading HCM platforms such as Workday, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Dayforce, and ADP is highly desirable. Executive presence with the ability to influence C‑suite leaders. Strategic thinker with exceptional business acumen. Strong consulting and advisory mindset. Exceptional executive communication skills. Ability to simplify complex organisational challenges. Collaborative and relationship‑oriented leadership style. High emotional intelligence. Excellent negotiation and influencing skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with experience building consulting practices. Strong financial and operational management capabilities. Proven ability to lead organisational change.
