Shift: All Shifts Available
1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Overtime Available
2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM | Overtime Available

DRT Aerospace is hiring a Blue Light Inspector / Manufacturing Support Technician to support production and advanced inspection using ZEISS 3D Blue Light Scanning (ATOS) and Hexagon CMM systems.
This is a hands-on aerospace manufacturing role focused on precision, quality, and continuous learning — not general labor.
What You’ll Do
Load and unload aerospace CNC-machined components
Support production flow and machine operators
Perform visual inspection for defects and nonconformance
Use calipers, micrometers, and precision gauges
Prepare parts for inspection (cleaning, deburring, fixturing)
Assist with ZEISS ATOS 3D Blue Light Scanning systems
Support CMM (Hexagon) inspection processes
Maintain 5S workplace organization and safety standards
Requirements
Manufacturing, machining, production, or warehouse experience required
Basic understanding of measurement tools or willingness to learn
Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
Ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures
Comfortable with hands-on work and standing for full shifts
Note: This role is not entry-level. Prior manufacturing or shop experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications
CNC machining or machine shop experience
Quality inspection or metrology experience
Blueprint / engineering drawing reading
Aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing background
Prior night shift experience
