Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $20.60 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Tue 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM, Thur 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM, Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or site contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic areas to control access, observe visitor activity, and support orderly operations in patient care and public‑facing spaces. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in required reports, and assist with directions, escorts, and other customer service needs as appropriate. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post‑hire. Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
