About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience with High Risk Obstetrical Experience (Labor & Delivery or Antepartum). License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: High Risk Labor and Delivery or Antepartum experience. Description: The unit requires a Registered Nurse with experience in Labor & Delivery or Antepartum. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant hospital experience. The nurse will manage high acuity patients and must have certifications in BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring. Experience with magnesium sulfate management and preterm labor management is essential. Documentation will be performed using Meditech and CPIN. The unit has 19 beds with a patient ratio of 1:5. Shifts will be scheduled to fill vacancies, and holiday requirements will be discussed during the interview. Floating may be required as needed. Nurses must adhere to the dress code, which includes blue insignia scrubs. Nails should be clean and healthy, without artificial enhancements. Hair must be neat and clean, and must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer. Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited. Tattoos should be covered whenever possible.
