Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Telemetry

Location: Winchester, VA

We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join the Medical Telemetry team at a leading regional hospital in Winchester, Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced and collaborative environment within a Level II Trauma Center.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Medical Telemetry
• Schedule: Full-time, Night Shift (12 hours)
• Openings: Multiple positions available
• Reporting To: Clinical Manager of Medical Telemetry

Unit Information:

• 30-bed Medical Telemetry Unit
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6
• Patient population: Adults (18+)
• Common diagnoses: Acute Coronary Syndrome, post-AMI care, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions, CHF, Peripheral Vascular Disease, Arrhythmias, Syncope, and CAD

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients in the Medical Telemetry Unit
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care plans
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient conditions
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care needs
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (RN Diploma, ASN, or ADN) required; BSN preferred
• Active RN licensure (or eligibility) in Virginia required
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage complex patient cases in a telemetry setting
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
